My name is Cory Wendling and I am a part-time knife maker
and a police officer full time. I work for one of the larger
suburbs of Dallas, TX, and love my job. I have been a
Negotiator assigned to the SWAT team, a Crash Investigator, a
Field Training Officer and am currently a K9 Officer. In my
spare time, I make knives, hunt, and collect firearms.
I got started in knife making about five years ago when I was
extremely active in Cowboy Action Shooting. I was ordering
knife blades and finishing them out for people to use as part of
their costumes. Eventually, I began to make my own blades.
My knives are made by stock removal. I craft every part of all
my knives including the sheaths.
All of the knives shown here were made by stock removal. I
have begun forging knives, and hope to have some I feel are
good enough to offer soon.
